چکیده

Abstract Background Pilea is a genus of perennial herbs from the family Urticaceae, and some species are used as courtyard ornamentals or for medicinal purposes. At present, there no information about plastid genome , which limits our understanding this genus. Here, we report 4 genomes taxa ( mollis glauca ‘Greizy’, peperomioides serpyllacea ‘Globosa’) performed comprehensive comparative analysis. Results The four all have typical quartile structure. lengths ranged 150,398 bp to 152,327 bp, each contained 113 unique genes, including 79 protein-coding rRNA 30 tRNA genes. Comparative analysis showed rather high level sequence divergence in genomes. Moreover, eight hypervariable regions were identified pet N- psb M, Z- trn G-GCC, T-UGU- L-UAA, acc D- I, ndh F- rpl 32, 32- L-UAG, A-intron ycf 1), proposed use DNA barcode regions. Phylogenetic relationships based on 23 14 genera Urticaceae resulted placement middle lower part phylogenetic tree, with 100% bootstrap support within Urticaceae. Conclusion Our results enrich resources concerning plastome provides insight into interspecific diversity . could be developing molecular markers applicable various research areas.

Four new species of Andean Pilea (Urticaceae), with additional notes on the genus in Venezuela

Four new species of Pilea (Urticaceae) from the Andes of Venezuela are described and illustrated: Pileamatthewii sp. nov., Pileamiguelii sp. nov., Pileanicholasii sp. nov., and Pileanidiae sp. nov. The affinities of these species and their positions within the informal classifications of Pilea proposed by Weddell and Killip are discussed. Notes on other species of Pilea found in Venezuela also ...

Complete Plastid Genome Sequencing of Four Tilia Species (Malvaceae): A Comparative Analysis and Phylogenetic Implications

Tilia is an ecologically and economically important genus in the family Malvaceae. However, there is no complete plastid genome of Tilia sequenced to date, and the taxonomy of Tilia is difficult owing to frequent hybridization and polyploidization. A well-supported interspecific relationships of this genus is not available due to limited informative sites from the commonly used molecular marker...

Genetic diversity of Arum L. based on plastid marker

TrnL-F region including intron trnL (UAA) and trnL (UAA) - trn (GAA) spacer in the large single-copy region of the chloroplast genome is widely used to infer phylogenetic relationships in plants. In this study, we obtained the trnL-F sequences from 8 samples of Arum L. in Iran. Phylogenetic analyses were conducted by the Bayesian inference, maximum parsimony, and maximum likelihood methods. The...
